CC combined its skills in events management and media outreach to orchestrate the highly successful launch and publication of Working Architecture, the first monograph to examine this multi-disciplinary international design firm.


Communications Collective was engaged to create a campaign promoting the release of Fender Katsalidis’ book Working Architecture, marking the first time the practice’s diverse body of work has been formally documented in one elegantly presented, limited-edition publication. The book provides a rare glimpse into the creative and innovative energy that has come to define FK as a highly awarded, multi-disciplinary international design firm whose work now influences built environment thinking across the globe.


We designed and implemented a comprehensive  communications campaign comprised of a launch event as well as strategic media outreach to mark this pivotal moment for the practice. Through a highly targeted campaign, CC helped to further strengthen FK’s position as a leader and pioneer in global architecture and broaden the visibility of the practice’s capacity for leadership, design excellence, business acumen and technical resourcefulness.


The campaign was a success, with full event attendance and more than 40 pieces of coverage achieved in tier-one EGN, architecture and design media. While celebrating FK’s illustrious past, the launch also provided a platform to look ahead to the practice’s future and its plans for expansion and consolidation, the communications strategy for which CC also manages.
