Already standing as Australasia’s leading architectural practice, HASSELL invited Communications Collective to create a groundswell that would ultimately establish them as not just the best in their field, but as leaders of thought and change in the industry.

Background

With more than 900 employees across Australia, China, South East Asia and the United Kingdom, HASSELL has established itself as the region’s leading architectural practice. While their mastery left an indelible mark on architecture across Australasia, HASSELL sought out Communications Collective to help gain prominence in their business areas – spanning workplace, hospitality and residential – both in Australia and abroad.

In response, we crafted a two-year public relations and communications strategy that would seamlessly integrate their business objectives and operations in each active territory.

Strategy

We worked with HASSELL’s leadership to carve out a communications strategy designed to put them in a position of influence across each desired business sector. Starting from the inside-out, Communications Collective conducted HASSELL-specific media training to empower appointed spokespeople, created an internal knowledge library to utilise their institutional knowledge, and developed a video series for use by their clients. Media releases and thought leadership pieces helped to secure speaking posts at leading industry round tables, and groundswell was supported further with an energetic roster of events which kept HASSELL at the forefront of industry minds.


Outcomes

Over the two years of working together, HASSELL won several major projects, which contributed to the sustained growth of the studios both in Australia and abroad. Regular appearances in top tier media in combination with the speaking appointments and video content positioned HASSELL as not just the best in their field but also as pioneers of progress.

Our media database secured in excess of 200 articles amounting to a total advertising value of $998,500 and a PR value of $2,995,500, with an ROI of over 40 times.
