Targeting primarily visual arts media, CC designed and implemented a strategic media outreach program for MUMA, placing both single-artist and thematic exhibitions in key media.
Communications Collective was engaged to devise a communications and media program for the Monash University Museum of Art’s 2017 artistic program. As a key public art museum within Australia’s largest tertiary institution, MUMA links the university, the art world and the wider community. Operating from award-winning facilities in the art, design and architecture precinct on Monash’s Caulfield campus, MUMA makes a valued contribution to the cultural and intellectual life of the university and the community.
Targeting primarily visual arts media, CC designed and implemented a strategic media outreach program for MUMA, placing both single-artist and thematic exhibitions in key media. With nearly 50 pieces of coverage, our campaign placed MUMA’s exhibitions in print, digital and broadcast media, building a greater awareness around MUMA’s artistic program through targeted media releases. CC Developed a clear media outreach program and timeline, and identified and secured profile opportunities for MUMA’s artists, exhibitions and curators.
The campaign continues to be an ongoing success, with CC placing coverage for each exhibition in tier one visual arts media, industry publications and lifestyle press. CC has secured media coverage in Art Guide Australia, Vault, Broadsheet Melbourne, The Australian and Art Asia Pacific to name but a few.
