Real Estate agent Oliver Hume launched their new leasing department via their sold out Nord development in North Melbourne. Uniquely designed with renters in mind, Nord is the first project to be fully developed, marketed and leased internally by Oliver Hume.
Communications Collective was engaged to deliver a launch strategy for the new leasing department, build awareness of and attract renters to the Nord development.
Recognising ‘the rise of the renter’ as a key trend in Australia’s property market, Communications Collective developed an event, and a PR and social media campaign that built awareness and attracted renters by showcasing the Nord rental offering and the surrounding community.
As a key tactic of this campaign, Communications Collective transformed the active construction site into a pop-up leasing launch focused on the renter. Brand aligned local retailers, including, Pidapipo Gelateria, Auction Rooms cafe, Humble Vintage bike hire, Short Stop donuts and Like Butter furniture activated the event. The campaign leveraged event partners influencer status and social media following. A targeted PR campaign supported the event.
With over 250 guests in attendance, Communications Collective helped to drive the profile and leasing success of Nord, securing over 30 pieces of coverage across a range of influential cultural publications. Social media engagement played a key role in boosting attendance and engaging with the local community.
