At DesignBUILD 2018, our director Genevieve Brannigan will present a session sharing insights gained from over 15 years helping leading property, architecture and design brands to cut through with media and positively enhance the bottom line.

The presentation will guide attendees through communications fundamentals for those working in the built environment. Covering a wide range of channels, it will outline just how radically the communications landscape is changing, explain how to develop content that is newsworthy, and address the do’s and don’ts of working with the media.

Genevieve’s presentation will explore how brands can achieve strong exposure, drive growth and connect their business to new audiences. The talk will also provide advice on how to engage in public relations and communications while meeting the AIA’s Code of Conduct for dealing with the media.

DesignBUILD is a three-day trade exhibition, being held 2–4 May at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, which brings together professionals from across the built environment and design sectors. Genevieve’s ‘Working with the media: communications for the architecture and design industry’ session takes place on Wednesday 2 May at 2pm.
