Four Melbourne creatives have reimagined the Christmas tree in Super Fun Happy Tree, a collaboration celebrating the festive decoration.
This modern take on the traditional festive icon comprises a range of limited edition large format Christmas tree posters by Melbourne creative’s Andrew Ashton, Sarah Pickering, Steven Phillips and Sawdust and Diamonds.
The brainchild of Sawdust and Diamonds designers Luke Donovan, Luke Matthews and Marco Gjergja, Super Fun Happy Tree was inspired by the trio’s time living and working in the beautifully designed but often compact spaces of Berlin and Tokyo.
As Marco Gjergja explains, ‘inner city living is becoming denser and apartment living spaces are becoming smaller. We saw the opportunity to create a new interpretation of the traditional Christmas tree to suit modern living. Consumers are looking to personalise their spaces in creative ways. Super Fun Happy Trees are ideal for those looking for something new and well designed.’
Super Fun Happy Tree posters are suitable for inner city living areas, holiday houses, children’s bedrooms, pop-up events and offices. Part artwork, part festive decoration, Super Fun Happy Trees provide a space-saving solution for homes and workspaces while still understanding the importance of an aesthetically pleasing Christmas tree.
Sustainable and reusable, Super Fun Happy Tree posters are beautifully printed on heavyweight paper with recycled content and environmental accreditation. Their magnetic display system ensures each poster is easy to hang and reuse again and again.
