The best of Melbourne’s inner north will participate in apartment building Nord’s leasing launch; a pop-up event showcasing the area’s lifestyle to potential renters, the first event of its kind in North Melbourne.

Potential renters will be given a first look at the building and its apartments and an opportunity to secure a lease.

Attendees will be able to sample products from a selection of the areas best providores.

Carlton gelateria Pidapipó will be scooping out gelati on Nord’s rooftop whilst guests take in the view.

Bench Projects’ coffee cart will serve coffee, with coffee beans provided by North Melbourne café Auction Rooms’ roasting company, Small Batch.

Melbourne favourite Short Stop will also serve up their famous doughnuts.

Nord’s proximity to other suburbs will be highlighted, with a pop-up store from CBD’s Metropolis Bookshop, and a display of Like Butter Furniture from Kensington.

Fitzroy’s Humble Vintage will be lending their fleet of Tokyobike’s so that attendees can take a leisurely cycle around the area and familiarise themselves with the neighbourhood.

Nord’s communal spaces, including a rooftop garden with views of the CBD, a lounge, TV, kitchen and dining space, are available to renters and owner-occupiers alike.

Within walking distance to the abundance of cafes, shops and bars on offer north of the river and just 2 kilometres from Melbourne’s CBD, developers Oliver Hume Property Funds want to show potential residents that Nord is no ordinary place to live.

For those driving to the event, Oliver Hume Property Funds are offering limited valet parking.
