December 2025 – This season has delivered a number of cornerstone achievements across CC clients’ portfolios, from a landmark month of AFR recognition for The Commons, to Hästens unveiling its Melbourne flagship store, to the strategic rebrand of leading design practice, Plus Studio. These announcements reflect an industry evolving through innovation, storytelling and an unwavering focus on design excellence.
Celebrated at an intimate launch event alongside Swedish Ambassador Klas Molin, the opening of the Hästens Melbourne flagship on Collins Street signifies the brand’s commitment to bringing world-leading craftsmanship and quiet luxury to the Australian market.
CC was proud to support Hästens with the launch event, introducing Melbourne to its 170-year legacy of premium, handcrafted beds — including its ultimate creation, the million-dollar Grand Vividus.
Congratulations to Hästens on its Australian expansion and the successful opening of its new Melbourne showroom.
Featured across three major AFR stories, The Commons has been spotlighted for its industry-shaping role in the growth of the coworking movement, the entrepreneurial journey of founders Cliff Ho and Tom Ye and their inclusion in this year’s Young Rich List.
Adding to this exceptional run, The Commons has secured a coveted position in the AFR Fast 100, acknowledging its impressive growth trajectory.
This coverage is a testament to the power of connection, creativity and executive storytelling.
Congratulations to the team on this well-deserved recognition.
After 27 years as Plus Architecture, the practice has evolved into Plus Studio – a rebrand that reflects its position as a global design powerhouse creating some of the world’s most desirable developments. Underpinned by the concept of “Where creativity meets precision”, the new identity captures what sets the firm apart – an ability to deliver visionary projects that push creative boundaries whilst still respecting budgets, timelines, and real-world constraints. With 11 studios across Australia and New Zealand, Plus Studio is shaping the built environment at every scale.
A once-in-a-generation renewal, Burwood Place is set to reshape the heart of Burwood with a connected mix of retail, residential, commercial, civic and lifestyle spaces for a fast-growing community.
In recent months, the precinct has reached major milestones, including the official groundbreaking of the $2.5 billion project attended by NSW Premier Chris Minns and senior government leaders. Coles has also been confirmed as the anchor tenant, bringing a 4,000sqm supermarket to the centre of Burwood Place.
Most recently, Holdmark welcomed the community for Hello Neighbour! — a lively event featuring entertainment, family activities and precinct showcases that brought the Burwood Place vision to life.
Congratulations to Holdmark and the team on this exciting progress and community celebration.
