Working alongside the national office and state chapters, we have delivered integrated advocacy campaigns spanning government and industry engagement, multiple state and national awards programs and member training, including managing a Media Working Party Program aimed at repositioning and educating the public and end users about the value of design, which saw Communications Collective work with over 80 AIA member practices. We have also managed communications for the Australia Pavillion at the Venice Biennale.
Meaningful impact has been achieved by connecting technical expertise with stories that resonate with target audiences. Our experience has shown that combining advocacy, stakeholder engagement and public education builds lasting support for complex issues, while consistent communications over time strengthen credibility, influence policy discussions and foster broad community understanding.
